Soil, weather and plant behaviour in California, USA
Growers in California are using the software to control the yield and quality of table and wine grapes in the Central Valley.
The University of California maintains an extensive network of weather stations (the CIMIS network), and weather data is downloaded to the software and compared with actual soil moisture and crop behaviour.
The software also imports and displays the output from CIMIS crop growth models, allowing users to confirm the accuracy of theoretical models and compare their predictions with the actual performance of the crop.
