This software processes and reformats data from the Diviner 2000 soil moisture sensor, and outputs text files that can be used by M-Log, Excel or other software; and also a Post file for Probe for Windows.
The Diviner 2000 records and displays data in the field unit, but the data can also be transferred to a PC using the Sentek Diviner Utilites Backup. Every time Sentek Backup is run, a new csv file for each site/tube is created.
If the data is not cleared in the Diviner 2000, the next time Sentek Backup is run new csv files will be created that have both the readings in the first csv file, plus any later readings.
The csv files cannot simply be joined together, because the data can be repeated. This software reads all the csv files, but does not duplicate the data.
The folder where the csv files have been left by Diviner Backup should be located with
The contents of a csv file can be checked with

If Average readings is ON, readings taken on the same day will be averaged before being output. This allows multiple scans by the Diviner to be taken down the same tube and averaged.
Output to text files will only be done if Output text file is ON.
Each time 2009May02.PST
The format for the file name can be selected - the default = yyyy MMM dd
makes it easier to sort to locate a post file.
If you process a second time on the same day the post file name will have an 'A' appended e.g. 2009May024A.PST
, etc.
The Serial Number will be saved in Probe for Windows, and allows further adjustments to be made to the Diviner2000 values.
The date format - default: dd mmm yyyy HH:MM:SS
- will be used for both Post output, and for averaged text output.
If Get Site numbers from lookup is ON, the Diviner 2000 SiteID numbers will be converted to your site numbers.
Output to a Post file will only be done if Output to Post file is ON.
The Diviner 2000 records a SiteID for each tube/site, in the range 0-99.
The allows for only 99 sites, but some users could be recording more than 100 sites.
To allow for this a lookup file can be used that converts from the Diviner 2000 1-99 numbers to your numbers.
Separate lookup files could be used on different farms, or in different valleys.
Lookup files must have extension lkp
